Word art IV

Before I made this last piece in the word art series I asked my swap host if the word I used could in fact be considered a word. She assured me it was a very big word and so I could finally get the image from my brain down to paper. I am sure it is fairly obvious which famous artist inspired this one...

Word art III

Part 3 of the word art swap is about something I do not seem to have too much of at the moment, but with the first two parts this should not be a problem to find again...

Word art II

So this is part II for the word art swap. I wanted to use the motif in a different project but it did not work  out the way I would have liked. So instead I used it for "Persistance", steadily moulding the rock the water drips upon. For the background I chose to draw lichen covered rocks. I saw rocks like this in Norway, with a colourful patchwork of different lichen varieties, separated by thick black lines where the different species "fight" for supremacy.

Word art I

I was invited to take part in a swap where we are supposed to make 3 to 4 small ATC size pieces of art  involving one word. They do not all have to be with or about the same word, but a word has to be on each card made. So I thought to get me going again with posting here I might as well post pictures of my contribution to this swap.

The World

I really have to get back into posting on a regular basis. I have been very busy with family, health and arting over the summer holidays, but I will not be posting much here about either family or health. And the arting part is quite tricky as I am currently working on a very large project that will probably take me another year or so to complete, and also before I post any of it I will seek copyrights for it. So if I don't post much (either here or on atcs for all) does not mean I am not being artsy.
It is still itching me to share some of the work I have done in the past couple of months and I think I can safely post some atcs that were inspired by my big project. One of them, World Tree, I will paint in acrylics on a large size canvas if I get the time.
As you can see I still have a lot of practise ahead of me regarding my lettering, I have not yet devoted any proper time to that. If I can find a comfy free spot in my busy daily schedule...

Nein! Yah?

I recently entered into a destash trade with someone from atcs for all. She has sent me some items from her stash and I have sent her an atc with a theme from her profile list. I picked Dachshund and as I always wanted to draw this fabulous example of the species I proudly present to you....
